Andrew Yen, Ph.D.
Co-founder, President and CEO
Dr. Andrew Yen co-founded Wolverine with a mission to develop a new type of enterprise
software that enables companies to collaboratively manage demand and improve forecast accuracy
across the supply network in real time. He is responsible for the company's overall corporate
and go-to-market strategy, and to ensure Wolverine Decision Technology is well positioned to
meet the needs of employees, customers and investors. Prior to Wolverine, Dr. Yen was instrumental
in managing information technology teams and supply chain planning system selection, implementation
and deployment at Conexant Systems. Dr. Yen also worked at IBM Consulting Group delivering
high-tech business solutions to Fortune 500 companies where he was awarded two US patents
in the area of supply-demand matching. Dr. Yen earned a Ph.D. in Industrial and Operations
Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Bachelor of
Science degree in industrial management from the National Cheng-Kung University, Taiwan.
Yu-Li Chou, Ph.D.
Co-founder, Executive VP and CTO
As the company's Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Chou is responsible for defining the
company's strategic technology and product direction as well as managing product development.
Dr. Chou brings significant domain expertise to Wolverine Decision Technology
and provides the company with technical vision in the areas of collaborative demand
managements and optimization technologies. Prior to Wolverine, she was the Director
of Research and Solution Development at Saltare, a supply chain event management
software provider, where she was responsible for formulating the company's strategic
product direction and overseeing the design and development of algorithms embedded in
the products. Dr. Chou's experience prior to Saltare includes working as a senior
optimization engineer in supply chain management at PeopleSoft, Inc., and playing
a key role in designing and developing decision-support applications and planning
engines. Dr. Chou was also a research scientist in enterprise solution research
at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, where she was awarded two U.S.
patents for the design of electronic trading markets. She holds a Ph.D. in
Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of Michigan,
Ann Arbor, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the
National Tsing-Hua University in Taiwan.
Eric Schneider, Ph.D.
Vice President of Engineering
Dr. Schneider's responsibility at Wolverine is to manage the engineering group
in developing reliable and efficient application software, and accurate numerical
algorithms for the collaborative demand management product. Prior to joining
Wolverine as a founding member, Dr. Schneider provided technical management and
information systems architectural oversight in the Supply Chain Management and
Information Technology departments at Conexant Systems and Rockwell Semiconductor,
and also was instrumental in starting the data warehousing group at Conexant Systems.
Dr. Schneider earned a M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California
Irvine and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University
of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He collaborated on two large scientific investigations while
at the University of California, Irvine and has been published in several leading
physics journals.
John Klem
Vice President of Marketing and Sales
John Klem is responsible for Wolverine's revenue streams and all customer
touch points as vice president of marketing and sales. Also, he drives
the organization's overall goals and objectives for customer-facing
marketing programs. His focus is setting the standard for an outstanding
customer experience as well as delivering the ultimate in customer
satisfaction while growing revenues and profitability. John Klem has
over 23 years of experience in high-technology management with
strengths in Product Management, Product Marketing and Business Development.
Most recently, Mr. Klem worked for Gartner. Prior to Gartner, Mr. Klem held various
executive positions in the sales and marketing organizations of two technology
companies Apple Computer and Sybase. Mr. Klem started his career with
Digital Equipment Corporation and held various managerial positions
with the company. He earned an honors program bachelor's degree in
business management and marketing from The Kelley School of Business
at Indiana University.
