Irvine, CA (August 29, 2003) - Wolverine Decision Technology, Inc. today announced
that ATEN International Co., Ltd. has selected Wolverine's Collaborative Demand
Management solution, Wolverine2, in an effort to improve forecast accuracy, reduce cost
and increase revenue through collaborative and integrated forecasting and inventory
planning.
ATEN International, a leading computer connectivity product manufacturer and
distributor based in Taiwan, is faced with the challenge of optimizing supply/demand
matching to control costs and increase margins while maintaining sound customer
service, expanding its operations globally, and competing in a growing marketplace. The
company selected Wolverine2 because of its functional completeness, ease of use, and
short implementation time.
The deployment of Wolverine Collaborative Demand Management solutions at ATEN
will take a phased approach. In Phase 1, planning to go live in early October, the
Wolverine Demand Manager, Wolverine Promotion Manager and Wolverine
Collaboration Platform applications will be implemented. In Phase 2, scheduled to go live
by early next year, the Wolverine Inventory Manager application will be added.
